Diane McConnell has taught across the age ranges in a variety of primary and secondary schools in the north of England and in West Africa, specialising in English teaching and inclusion.
For the past 15 years Diane has worked as a consultant and adviser in school improvement in several different local authorities. She has a Masters Degree and was accredited as both a Primary and a Secondary School Improvement Partner. Since 2010, Diane held the post of Chief Adviser with Stockton Borough Council managing the Education Improvement Service.
She is now Head of Schools and SEN. Her objective is to build sustainable, safe and successful learning communities through working with a wide range of partners so that no child is left behind and standards rise.
